New Mailbox Instilation

Ugly, outdated, drooping mailbox fixed by Benchmark. Lots of these mailbox kits say you only need 18” depth. The frost line in Wisconsin is 4’. On every mailbox I do the standard is to dig down 4’ to frost depth, add 3” of gravel for drainage, and then fill surrounding hole with concrete. Your mailbox is the first thing people notice about your home, wouldn’t you want it built to last?
